They depend
on us. Together,
we can help.
White Stork Foundation provides pet food support for dogs and cats to Vancouver families facing financial hardship — so no one has to choose between feeding themselves and feeding the pet they love.
"A pet isn't a luxury families give up when money is tight — it's part of the family. We make sure a hard month doesn't mean losing them."
Pet food support
Nutritious, reliable food for dogs and cats, delivered with care and no questions asked.
Supporting families
Helping households keep their pets healthy, fed, and by their side through hard seasons.
Stronger together
Compassion for pets, care for our community — Vancouver looking after its own.
Care, not judgment — for every family we meet.
Why we started White Stork
White Stork Foundation was built on a simple belief: financial hardship should never break the bond between a family and their pet. When money gets tight, pet food is often one of the first things to go — and one of the hardest things to ask for help with.
We provide dog and cat food, free of charge, to Vancouver families going through a difficult stretch, so pets can stay healthy, and stay home. It's a small, practical form of support with an outsized effect on the families and animals who receive it.
The stork has long stood for care and new beginnings — a fitting namesake for an organization built on showing up when it matters most, powered by neighbours helping neighbours.
